Live report
With its outstanding technology and innovative solutions, i-Stock became the focus of the exhibition. The show not only provided a platform for i-Stock to showcase its technological prowess, but also a great opportunity to establish deep connections with customers in Southeast Asia.
As a guest speaker, i-stock introduced the overall solution of semiconductor intelligent logistics in detail to the audience, demonstrating the company's deep accumulation and forward-looking technology in the semiconductor field. These solutions not only demonstrate i-Stock's deep understanding of the needs of the industry, but also demonstrate its determination and ability to drive industry development.
It is worth mentioning that this exhibition has been highly valued by the Malaysian government. Malaysia's Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, also attended the opening ceremony and told the media that Malaysia hopes to attract hundreds of billions of dollars in semiconducter-related investments through the National Semiconductor Strategy (NSS). This strategy aims to generate billions of Malaysian ringgit in revenue while ensuring the growth of domestic players and promote Malaysia's development as a global semiconductor research and development hub.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced that the Malaysian Government will allocate RM25 billion (about US $5.33 billion) to implement the NSS, which will be divided into three phases (building the foundation, going to the Forefront and Frontier innovation) towards five goals to promote collaboration with ASEAN, Asian and global businesses. The five goals include investment, company growth, research and development centers, training and financial support, and the strategy will evolve according to current needs.
The initiative, led by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) and involving multiple sectors, is a robust, flexible, inclusive and forward-looking strategy. In the first phase, the government will support outsourced semiconductor encapsulation (OSAT) modernization, develop existing fabs, seek foreign direct investment to expand back-end chip capacity, and train domestic chip designers.
During the exhibition, the Secretary General of Shenzhen Electronics Association also visited the i-Stock booth and had in-depth exchanges with our staff. The exchange not only deepened the understanding of the two sides in the industry, but also laid the foundation for possible future cooperation. i-Stock looks forward to further expanding its presence in Southeast Asia and the global market through cooperation with organizations such as the Shenzhen Electronics Association.
